Cambria Freight -
Mini Brand Design
When a 10-year-old logistics company decided it was time to grow up, Cambria Freight came to me for a brand refresh that could carry them into the next decade. Here's how we built a confident new identity from the ground up.

The brief
After ten years in business, Cambria Freight had outgrown their original branding - which had been put together quickly in the early days, just to get them trading. Now, with a decade of growth behind them, they wanted an identity that reflected the professional, established company they'd become. Something confident, clear, and unmistakably theirs.
The story
As with every project, I started with a mood board - a research document exploring how other companies in the logistics sector position themselves visually. This gave me a clear sense of the landscape Cambria Freight was operating in, and helped me understand what they were drawn to (and what they wanted to avoid).
From there, I developed a handful of logo concepts - some that responded directly to the brief, and others that pushed it a little further. The final logotype weaves the letters 'C' and 'F' into a single mark that suggests movement and journey - a nod to the heart of what Cambria Freight does. We kept the original green and red palette, giving the new brand a sense of continuity with the company's roots.
To take the identity beyond the logo, I introduced a set of supporting elements - subtle road and map motifs alongside personalised illustrations - giving Cambria Freight a flexible visual toolkit they can build on as the brand grows.
What I delivered
The final package included a fresh new logo built around the idea of movement and delivery, a mini brand board setting out colours and fonts, a set of personalised graphics for use across digital and print, and a starter set of branded stationery to get them up and running straight away.
